Internal operational notifications only: JGV CPA Firm PLLC's text messaging (SMS) program is used for internal operational notifications only. The only recipient is the firm owner, Jason Valenzuela, CPA, who receives messages at his own mobile number. No clients, prospects, or members of the public receive these messages, and they contain no marketing or promotional content.

Opt-in: The firm owner, Jason Valenzuela, opts in himself. He enters his own mobile number in the firm's internal notification settings and checks a box that is not pre-checked, next to the consent statement below, then saves. His mobile number is never added from a list, a purchased source, or a third party. Consent is recorded with the date and time and kept in the firm's records.

Frequency: Message frequency varies based on operational activity and task deadlines.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out: The firm owner may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. He will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages unless he opts in again.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers who help us deliver our messages.

We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, phone and text messaging provider, email provider, secure client portal, and scheduling and accounting software. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us and must protect it. We may also disclose information when required by law, by professional standards, or to protect our rights.

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Client engagement records are kept for the period required by law and professional standards, generally seven years after the engagement ends. Inquiry and text messaging records that are not part of a client engagement are kept for up to three years. When information is no longer needed, we delete or securely destroy it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls, secure client portals, and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you texts or emails, by contacting us below. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal or professional obligations.

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
